Toe Tuck BJJ Half Guard Sweep (Gi or No Gi)

Chewy “Chewjitsu” starts out by hooking the outside leg from the half guard position. This helps to avoid the knee-cut guard pass.

He grabs the toe instead of higher on the leg and rolls through. He does this because holding the smaller joints (or fighting against) will allow him better control. He keeps his elbow tight and back to avoid getting pressed downward.

This also puts him into a good passing position.
